The three-city, two-year grant to fund the creation of the climate actions plans is happening through a public planning process. We’ll keep you up to date below by posting resources from past community events, news on upcoming forums and other relevant resources. Ypsilanti Climate Action Plan: May 10 Draft
We have an official draft of the Ypsilanti Climate Action Plan! It's attached for your review. Note that this draft is current as of May 10, and changes are being made internally right up until a final draft is approved by Ypsilanti City Council.

On Wednesday, June 20, from 6:00-7:00 pm, you're invited to give public comment in advance of the Planning Commission's formal review of the Ypsilanti Climate Action Plan. At their regular meeting from 7:00-9:00 pm, the Planning Commission will review the plan, and there will be a small period for public comment.

You're invited to join us on Wednesday, May 16, for a first look at the official Ypsilanti climate action plan. We'll formally present the first draft of the plan to the Planning Commission at their regular meeting from 7:00-9:00 pm in City Council Chambers.

Ypsilanti Community Meeting Notes
The Ypsilanti climate plan team held two smaller community meetings at the request of local stakeholders. The first was in conjunction with Eastern Michigan University's Activism and Education Conference, and the second was a joint meeting of the College Heights and Normal Park Neighborhood Associations. Notes from both sessions are attached.
