    As a new resident who walks and bicycles as a means of transportation, I am encountering many routes suggested by google maps that are unsafe unless you are traveling by car. Even if making every street safe for pedestrian and bicycle traffic is not realistic, perhaps a detailed database and map for navigating would shorten the learning curve and keep me off of unsafe routes. I would also like to suggest an understandable rating system for sections of roads. I have appreciated and enjoyed the clearly marked B2B trail, but it does not connect to the many places I need to go.
